Fascinated by the mystery and power of the Zulu people, Jette Scheib was inspired by images of shields in Africa. It represents symbolism, protection and at the same time an ornament. The strong image of the armor was the inspiration for the design of this ceiling lamp. The design of the shield embodies the identity and cohesion of the tribe. The white and black accents of the ceiling lamp accentuate the powerful image of the Zulu shields.
